TRUST!As my son lay at my breast, I stared in awe at the look of contentment on his face. Nothing in this world bothered him. He did not care that I was late for a meeting. He did not care that he had kept me up all night. He did not care that everyone was rushing around him like mad thinking, "WOULD YOU HURRY UP ALREADY?!" Nope, he just took his pretty time and was enjoying every moment of it too. What a lesson for me in the middle of my frustration. The Lord says in His word that we should be as a child. And so one message I am learning through my experience at the moment is trust .A newborn child does not fear being dropped (The mother however is a constant ball of nerves!) He does not fear that he will not get fed. He just expects me to be there for him. And ...what do you know, come 3 ..4 ...5...6 AND ...7 in the morning. There I am. Staggering and half asleep, meeting his needs. You know, if we being very human and fallible rush to the aid of our children, how much more our loving Father? I do not expect my son to wake up in the morning and make his own milk. No, I understand he is not capable and I do it for him. In fact, if the truth be told, I love it! For this short time in his life he is all mine to smother with love. How much more our heavenly father? So often we run around trying to perform and take care of ourselves, when He just wants us to need Him and have us all to himself. The love we have for our kids is a drop in the ocean compared to our God. So how about it? When was the last time you just lay in His arms and let HIM be in control? When was the last time you trusted him to feed and clothe you? As children of the most wonderful father in the world, we have a supreme advantage, all we need to do is trust. This week why not let go of your frantic attempts to make things happen? Forget about forcing your way through that wall in front of you. Rather take the time to TRUST the Lord and watch as He removes those walls for you. Your heavenly father loves you more than you can imagine. Rest in that. Let Him protect and nurture you. Then when the time is right and you have grown up a bit, then you will be ready to take on the world again. Personal UpdateIs there such a thing as apostolic diaper changing? Well if there is, I am surely learning it at the moment ! Although if the truth be told it does not differ much to ministry. You and I know very well that ministry is 20% motivating folks and 80% cleaning up the mess that is left behind. Yes, ministry is not always pretty, but it does come with its perks. Nothing compares to seeing folks rise up that you have poured into. We have witnessed this with the launch of our live Prophetic Schools. In fact you can expect some updates on new schools being launched shortly. (Also watch out for some hints of an AMI Apostolic School in the near future) Although we have not officially released it, the Lord is doing something fantastic with the Apostles and you can expect hands on personal training right here at AMI! On a personal note, Craig and I both have been touched and motivated by all the kind wishes and support from everyone to my last blog. Thank you very much for your words. We are part of such a big family here at AMI! We return blessings on those couples also expecting a birth along with those that are trying, Whether spiritual or natural, a new birth has the power to transform your life and take you to a totally new level.
