The Esther Effect

TRUST!

As my son lay at my breast, I stared in awe at the look of contentment on his face. Nothing in this world bothered him. He did not care that I was late for a meeting. He did not care that he had kept me up all night. He did not care that everyone was rushing around him like mad thinking, "WOULD YOU HURRY UP ALREADY?!"

Nope, he just took his pretty time and was enjoying every moment of it too. What a lesson for me in the middle of my frustration. The Lord says in His word that we should be as a child. And so one message I am learning through my experience at the moment is trust .A newborn child does not fear being dropped (The mother however is a constant ball of nerves!) He does not fear that he will not get fed. He just expects me to be there for him. And ...what do you know, come 3 ..4 ...5...6 AND ...7 in the morning. There I am. Staggering and half asleep, meeting his needs.

You know, if we being very human and fallible rush to the aid of our children, how much more our loving Father? I do not expect my son to wake up in the morning and make his own milk. No, I understand he is not capable and I do it for him. In fact, if the truth be told, I love it! For this short time in his life he is all mine to smother with love. How much more our heavenly father?

So often we run around trying to perform and take care of ourselves, when He just wants us to need Him and have us all to himself. The love we have for our kids is a drop in the ocean compared to our God. So how about it? When was the last time you just lay in His arms and let HIM be in control?

When was the last time you trusted him to feed and clothe you? As children of the most wonderful father in the world, we have a supreme advantage, all we need to do is trust. This week why not let go of your frantic attempts to make things happen? Forget about forcing your way through that wall in front of you. Rather take the time to TRUST the Lord and watch as He removes those walls for you.

Your heavenly father loves you more than you can imagine. Rest in that. Let Him protect and nurture you. Then when the time is right and you have grown up a bit, then you will be ready to take on the world again.

Personal Update

Is there such a thing as apostolic diaper changing? Well if there is, I am surely learning it at the moment ! Although if the truth be told it does not differ much to ministry. You and I know very well that ministry is 20% motivating folks and 80% cleaning up the mess that is left behind. Yes, ministry is not always pretty, but it does come with its perks.

Nothing compares to seeing folks rise up that you have poured into. We have witnessed this with the launch of our live Prophetic Schools. In fact you can expect some updates on new schools being launched shortly. (Also watch out for some hints of an AMI Apostolic School in the near future) Although we have not officially released it, the Lord is doing something fantastic with the Apostles and you can expect hands on personal training right here at AMI!

On a personal note, Craig and I both have been touched and motivated by all the kind wishes and support from everyone to my last blog. Thank you very much for your words. We are part of such a big family here at AMI! We return blessings on those couples also expecting a birth along with those that are trying, Whether spiritual or natural, a new birth has the power to transform your life and take you to a totally new level.

Response from Ivory : Dear Apostle, I feel like a woman waiting to give birth. I feel the birth pains, but the head still has not been seen. I need a word such as this, it helps me a whole lot. Thank you.

Response from Dianne Lawrence : Apostles,

What a beautiful timely word not only for the corporate body but for me - this is exactly where Father has me in this season - when I read the gospels - it says Jesus called His 12 disciples to BE WITH HIM and then He sent them out in due season.

Have a wonderful Monday in the Lord. Dianne

Response from Carol K. : Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I am encouraged greatly by this word. Leaning not to my own understanding but putting my trust in the Author and Perfecter of my faith.

Apostle Collette, May God richly bless and keep you and your family!

Response from Marti : Dear Apostle,

Thank you for continuing to share those intimate moments with us in such a way that Christ is obviously seen. May we all come to trust in our Heavenly Father as a baby does his or her mother for all they need. Contiued blessings to you and the family!

Response from Eleanor : I Praise GOD for you and the whole GMR family, Apostle Collette. Every morning I look forward to my special emailed Word from The LORD and as usual, it is right on time. I am always learning that everyday I must continue to humble and re-examine myself and my motives. GOD is just too awesome to have put GMR in my path and in my life. Over the past couple of years The Lord has really opened my eyes and my understanding to rely solely on HIM. It wasn't easy at first, but as time goes on, it is getting easier and easier.
Acts 27:25

Response from Liliane : Hello Apostle Colette,

I am happy to hear about you and baby Michael ! Praise the Lord! Thank you for encouraging us to trust the Lord. It is difficult sometimes for many of us to give up everything in His hands. We are using our own strength while He is just opening His arms and is inviting us to rest on Him, like the baby is doing on his mother's chest (what a beautiful picture apostle Colette).
I had a vision this afternoon when laying on my bed. The Lord invited me for a walk with Him. As usual it was in french so I am trying to translate the little conversation we had into english. He said to me : "Come for a walk with me My child". I took His hand and we started walking a little while. Then we entered into a very big garden full of flowers. I looked at Him and I said "these flowers are so beautiful ! It smels so good !". Then He bents down and cut a flower and gave it to me , He said : "Take my child".I thanked Him and I was so happy. The flower scent reminded me about a perfume I had in my bedroom. So I asked Him : "How do You know I like this fragrance ?" He answered to me : "I know everything about you My child". There was so much love in His voice. I smiled and tears of joy came out of my eyes. He said :" Don't worry my child, I will always be there for you. I know all your needs. Delight yourself in Me and I shall give you the desires of your heart. Come and rest in Me."

It is so important to trust the Lord, He is just right there by our side. He is always ready to please us and always available to help us. Halleluja, praise the Lord !

Thank you for your love apostle Colette.

Many blessings to you and to your family !

Response from Maycille : Thank you. It is just the word I need right now as I step into the new direction that God is giving me. It dispelled my doubts and fears which I must admit were subtly creeping in. May the Lord continue to bless and prosper you as you continue to pour into His people.
